Hrithik & Katrina the most desired ‘Man & Woman 2010’

 

Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif have been voted by the nation as ‘Most desired man and woman of 2010’. The opinion poll was conducted by a leading news daily and the duo won the title beating 49 other strong contenders.

The actor with Greek God looks made it to the top beating flamboyant Salman Khan (2nd) and the industry’s latest heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor (3rd). ‘Kaminey’ star Shahid ranked 4th while sexy man John Abraham made it to the 5th position followed by SRK, Akshay Kumar Arjun Rampal, Imran Khan and Saif Ali Khan.

The lady who sizzled with her racy item number ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ made it to the top of the list, beating all her contemporaries conveniently. Kat was the unanimous choice for the top spot and she retained ‘numero uno’ position after having won the title last year as well.

The Bachchan Bahu stood 2nd followed by ravishing Priyanka, dimpled beauty Deepika Padukone and gorgeous Kareena Kapoor. Genelia D’Souza was the surprise package in the list as she managed to grab the 6th position beating style icon Sonam Kapoor, hottie Bipasha Basu, sizzling Kangna Ranaut and newly crowned Miss Earth Nocole Faria.

Extra Sensitive Roles In Guzaarish

The movie Guzaarish is set in a very different genre of cinema and is actually full of pathos and under currents of pain and sufferings of humans who undergo chronic diseases.
The basic idea of the struggles of existence of a patient suffering from the painstaking disease of paralysis is very poignantly depicted by the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. However, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik’s role in the movie as the nurse Sofia and the patient Ethan respectively are extra sensitive.
The movie has been dealt with a very delicate style and the irony of the story is evident from the fact that it revolves around the patient who is full of life, played amazingly and with conviction by Hrithik Roshan. The patient is completely ridden to his wheel chair but has the spirit of a bright teenager and lives life to the fullest with his radio jockey job.
Then the twist in the tale is seen as he wants to suddenly end his life. He fights a losing battle with the law and thereby gets his nurse of 14 years Sofia played by Aishwarya to decide to allow him to end his life the way he wishes to despite the fact that she would be behind bars for the rest of her life.
Thus, she goes ahead to fulfill his wish but not before giving him the taste of real love on the last day and giving him the pure joy of living.
The irony in the tale is that just as he decides to end his life, he gets to see a new ray of hope with the unconditional love in his nurse. This sensitive depiction of roles by both the stars is sure to bring tears to all eyes.

Salman Invites Hrithik to Big Boss

Following reports that Salman had refused the "Guzaarish" team from visiting the sets of Bigg Boss to promote their film, Salman has decided to make a dramatic turn of events. So this time around, Salman has himself asked the Colors team to invite Hrithik on the show.

A source said, "Salman is very fond of Hrithik and he had even visited him on the sets of "Guzaarish" along with Ranbir (Kapoor) at Mehboob Studio, as they were shooting nearby. Bhansali (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) and Salman were cordial with each other over coffee at this casual meeting. But there were subtle hints of unpleasant vibes between the two. This could be rooted to the fact that Bhansali had promised to cast Salman in his next (and Salman was looking forward to the project) but he cast Hrithik instead."
Despite his differences with Bhansali, Salman is now excited to have Hrithik on Bigg Boss and has specifically asked the Colors team to invite him. Whether Hrithilk accepts the invitation is yet to be confirmed. But knowing the love and respect that Hrithik has for Salman, it's an offer he clearly can't refuse.
